Malcolm Creek Vineyard was established over 30 years ago by Reg Tolley, third generation winemaker. The vineyard was located on Ashwood Estate and named after Malcolm Creek which runs through the property.

The vines are grown on the property and the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Chardonnay were planted by Reg Tolley when he started the vineyard. Since then Sauvignon Blanc has been added and the plan is to have Shiraz and Pinot Noir available within a few years.

The aim is to achieve a high quality full flavoured wine. The vineyard has minimal supplementary watering and the fruit is hand picked as late as possible to secure the high standard.

The wine matures in French oak barrels for 2-4 years before being bottled. The Cabernet Sauvignon is cellared for an additional couple of years before being released at the cellar door.
